Climate Talk – Clover Creek Restoration Alliance with Sean Arent

January 5, 2025 by Malakay Betor

John Doherty talks with activist Sean Arent about the history, uses, and restoration of our most important watershed. Clover Creek is now a seasonal creek but before the 1940s, it was a year-round free-flowing stream. Much of the aquifer is underground and ignored by our municipal governments, endangering our source of drinking water. Although many citizens believe our water comes from Mount Ranier, in reality, most of our drinking water comes from rainfall that fills our watersheds.

The mission of the Clover Creek Restoration Alliance is to advocate, identify, and make efforts to reverse damage, to protect the integrity of the creek, to restore habitat for all aquatic life, and ensure protection of vital groundwater.
