Tacoma Ocean Fest is a free festival on Tacoma’s waterfront for National Ocean Month, plus a variety of June ocean events including a Lantern Paddle for Species and a Waterway Cleanup. We also hold the Grit City Costume Paddle during Halloween Weekend.
Foss Waterway Seaport is now hosting Tacoma Ocean Fest as one of its many community events. Tacoma Ocean Fest was founded by Rosemary Ponnekanti, the festival director from 2018-2023.
