Whole Washington is going to Saturday's LD 27 Town Hall
Saturday, February 21st
10 AM - Noon
Stadium High School, 111 N E St, Tacoma 98403

Look for Pam K., wearing her red Whole Washington T-shirt. Wear yours if you have one. We'll meet up by the stage before the event starts.
Here are possible questions/comments
- Is Washington State ready to lead the nation in universal healthcare? If we're not ready, what’s missing or what do we need to do?
- Bring your personal story and ask what the state is doing to help.
- How can small businesses provide healthcare for their employees?
- All studies show that universal healthcare would save money while providing healthcare to more people. When can we start?
- Medical debt and lack of access to care are significant drivers of homelessness. Can our elected officials work together to solve these problems together?
- The United Nations has a goal of universal healthcare by 2030. How can we get there?
Two Reminders
- If you do have the opportunity to speak or ask a question, be brief. You will have more impact.
- Please let us know what they say. Bring back anything you hear. This will help shape our next steps.
SB 5947 Status
SB 5947, the universal healthcare "trigger" bill that begins implementation of a statewide system when the federal government acts, has passed the Senate! It has moved to the House and awaits a hearing.
There are two actions to take at this stage: calling and emailing both of your representatives.
We're thrilled the bill has continued to progress. Thank you for being so involved this legislative session. We're getting noticed and gaining power.
Hope to see you at the Town Hall!
