Thank You!
Last Saturday, we were heartened and touched by supporters, volunteers, and most especially musicians who came together to produce a very successful benefit concert. We collected an entire month's rent in one wonderful evening!
We cannot thank you all enough but we especially appreciate Steve and Kristi Nebel who suggested the concert. https://sknebel.com/ (Did you know that Nebel means an ancient stringed instrument probably like a Hebrew harp of 10 or 12 strings?) The Nebels have supported us from the beginning and have generously shared so much of their music that we air on KTAH.
We are also grateful to Heidi Fosner and David Fewster, AKA Folksingers in Hell who performed their Tacoma-centric Americana. In 2003 David was awarded a Tacoma Arts Commission Individual Artist Program grant for his book of poetry, “Diary of a Homeless Alcoholic Suicidal Maniac and Other Picture Postcards”. Heidi has appeared on KUOW’s The Beat and The Laureate Listening Project website funded by Tacoma Arts Commission, Walrus Productions E.P.I.C. Fest, and Music on Main in Vancouver, BC.

And last but not least, thank you to surprise entertainer, Mike Berman, who not only performed but also donated to KTAH. Mike's album 2025 album Ghosts contains eight original tracks addressing themes such as growing up amidst gun violence, lost relationships, the dangers of looking back, and the redemption and mercy that love and music can bring to your soul.
