SB 5955 DEPRIVATIZING MEDICAID - PRIORITY BILL
Transition away from private insurance companies administering Apple Health/Medicaid within 1 year. This bill will reduce administrative overhead, and is estimated to saving between $757M and $1.3B.
SB 5948 UHC COMMISSION DEADLINES - PRIORITY BILL
Hold accountable the state Universal Health Care Commission by setting clear deadlines and deliverables.
SB 5946 EXPANDING MEDICAID TO 300%
Increase eligibility for Medicaid/Apple Health up from current 138% of federal poverty level to 300%. This raises the income threshold from $21,560 to $46,950 for a single person.
